Matiko Mamaladze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. She grew up in an artistic family surrounded by her mother’s and grandfather’s works. They were a source of inspiration and encouragement to her. Matiko studied art at the Nikoladze Art School and the Academy of Fine Arts where she received her Master’s Degree in Fine Art. 

She identifies as a Romance Artist, and her paintings are often focused on the subject of love. They are stirring and emotional, full of color, and a pleasure to behold. “Different things inspire me,” says Matiko. “People, nature, mood, or simply everyday events.”
